Last night I attended the Creative Open Space Los Angeles meeting held by the City Rec and Parks Department which is looking for input from the public about what sorts of parks and street amenities we in DTLA would like to see in the future. They had a huge map laid out on tables, and people were scribbling in green patches all over the place- lots of interest in community gardens! The final results will be handed to local nonprofits (like us!) and Neighborhood Councils to utilize.
