Valerie Watson, the Assistant Pedestrian Coordinator at LADOT, will be presenting the city’s People Streets initiative. This initiative will fast-track converting underutilized roadway into public open spaces much like the Sunset Polka Dot Park or the Spring Street Parklets did.
