LA Arts District Green Alley Project / CURRENT LA: WATER

Hosted by Industrial District Green in collaboration with Art Share L.A. and Cal Poly Pomona Dept. of Landscape Architecture, this event draws attention to a future alternative alley system that utilizes storm water collection as a driver for ecological and cultural health of a rapidly evolving neighborhood. The three-part event includes:

Panel Discussion – confirmed speakers Yuval Bar Zemer (Linear City Development) General Jeff (Skid Row Community Activist) Ashle Fauvre (SPA project in Skid Row), Ryan Allan (KYCC and IDG partner) and George Wolfe (Founder of LA River Expeditions) highlighting water issues in the area.

Art Exhibitions - Art of Drought at Art Share L.A. and Ode to Water, paintings by David Cooke at The Great Company

Self-guided alley tour – visit five alleys and experience alley activations: urban art forest, obstacle course and an  open soccer game at The Great Company Alley (all welcome, bring your soccer gear)
